ever wonder how i got my name? mommy and daddy wanted my name to start with k. they are keren and keefe. there was keiko (兴子) which means happy child in japanese. they like kirsten the most but many couldn't pronounce it. mommy came up with my chinese name from kirsten. daddy is cantonese so my dialect name will become "kay yarn". he then came up with kayen which sounds dialect but looks english. cool?

i had my first meal at a food court today. i was drinking breastmilk of course. me, mommy, daddy and ma-ma (paternal grandma in cantonese) went to NUH for lactation consultation. i am a total breastfeed baby. it was a tough hour. me and mommy had many things to learn and practise.
